Below is their findings - Impressive
There are two versions of the guide. We tested the guide that covers the sights in and around the parade street Karl Johan. In addition, there is a variation of the mobile that guides you through the Vigeland Sculpture Park. The guides are prepared by Infotain and Oslo Guide Bureau.
Both mobile phone tourist guides have eleven different stops in Oslo, Current language’s are in Norwegian and English. Each of the stops has their own audio tracks about the attraction you are visiting and can navigate to each by inserting a simple code.
We started at the Palace and walked through the National Theater and City Hall before we ended up in Parliament.
When it comes to the city center, you should also find it exciting you reach the royal history and architectural history section.

The Put Off
Mobile phone guide’s would be beneficial to foreigners - had it not been for the price. The guide is in fact arranged so that you pay 50 pounds for a map and access to the guide, but you must pay the standard local rates when you call up the guide.
Foreign mobile phone subscribers will be heavily priced.
But too many Norwegians will have the great pleasure of a mobile Oslo-guided tour. Whether you are in the capital on a rare visit or Oslo-citizen and would like some information about the sculptures and buildings, you frequently get passed.
My Thoughts
There is no doubt that this city guide for tourists is a great device, I think it is to expensive. Oslo is expensive enough for visiting tourists and this will just add the inflated costs of a holiday to Olso. It will be a great gadget for tourists with money to burn, and if you have then I would recommend it.
Device - 10/10
Cost - 3/10
Overall - 5/10
